Kulmberghaus in Saalfeld

There was always good food in the Kulmberghaus, it is sad that it was closed, there would have been a good turnover today, but unfortunately there is Corona at the moment and no one is allowed to open. In this way one can also destroy existences. But it's out of our hands, these are the instructions. Let's hope we can go back there soon.

As always, it was delicious and the view of Saalfeld was great.

Delicious. There are homemade Thuringian dumplings here !!! The menu is clear, but just the right dishes. It has to be like that, not much on the menu, but everything is very tasty. The service was very nice and not only reserved a table for me, but also Thuringian dumplings. We would love to come back. By the way, we still like the old flair very much.

Very nice view to the south. In my opinion, the price level does not correspond to the performance. Except for a little iceberg, the salad for € 15.80 only contained sour vegetables. No cucumber, tomato or peppers! The chairs are uncomfortably worn out. The ascent to the tower in the immediate vicinity is worthwhile.

Very good food, but will be rebuilt at the end of the year. Hopefully it will be nice.

Not a single vegetarian dish on the menu in 2020 - that's not advertising. In addition, the food is very expensive. The beautiful view makes up for it somewhat.

The view is very beautiful, invites you to enjoy and relax. The food was very good and tasty. It was quite loud in the dining room, also because many had to wait longer for their food. The waitress was nice, but seemed a bit overwhelmed and told at every table that nobody wanted to work with her. But the Kulmberghaus is definitely recommended for food and views.

After many years we were once again a guest in my hometown. From Remschütz we walked through wonderful nature to the Kulmberghaus. The staff was very friendly and the food was - in our opinion - above average. Even the dumplings were completely handmade. Thanks and happy again.

Very, very tasty, real "Thuringian cuisine". Price-wise for the region - the great view and the friendly service make up for it. The furnishing of the restaurant is still very typical and fits the overall concept. We would love to come back, although some spice hit my stomach the last time I visited .... 😇

Great view, a very nice and attentive condition and the food was delicious too! Were with a large group of cyclists on site and were well-served.
